Responsibilities

Technical nautical support of our own ferry tonnage
Planning and monitoring of projects
Handling of shipyard times and repairs
Preventive maintenance
Damage handling
Control and responsibility of maintenance and ship operating costs
Responsibility for the assessment of performance on board

Requirements

University or university of applied sciences degree in the field of ship technology
Practical experience in the operation of engines of ships, ideally experience in ship management
A service-oriented manner, flexible adaption to changing circumstances and actively pushing ideas for optimizing ship operations as well as energy efficiency
Profound knowledge of national and international safety rules and regulations
Team spirit, respect in dealing with others and curiosity about new challenges
Very good knowledge of English and confident use of the common MS Office products
Willingness to travel and eager to visit the vessels assigned, on a regular basis
