Responsibilities

Automation and database management including creation of technical specification documents and management of automations using Alteryx, Python, and SSIS
Creation of reports and dashboards in Power BI
Building data models and creating measures in DAX
Analysis of performance of Power BI reports and SQL queries/views
Participation in BI strategy development and implementation
Provision of support for existing BI solutions
Conducting root cause analysis on code level in Visual Studio
Maintenance of existing BI solutions including embedded Power BI reports on cloud and on-prem
Solution implementation assembly management including data migration, validation, integration, documentation, automation development, report development, user review facilitation, training, and implementation user support
Maintenance of competency in GOS Technology client applications for consulting, implementation, and demonstration
Contribution to GOS Technology team knowledgebase with best practices, lessons learned, concept and solutions documents and ServiceNow
Leveraging client applications for demonstration, data modelling and process development with the client implementation team
Providing secondary support to the Delivery Management team for consistency across transitioning client base

Requirements

Experience designing, building, and testing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for 3-4+ years
Solid experience in business data analytics
Experience working with ERP or designing one
Knowledge of business intelligence and modern data warehouse concepts including ETL/ELT
Experience in SQL queries and views (Microsoft T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS)
Experience in Alteryx data science and analytics automation platform
Ability to maintain and write Python scripts
Knowledge of business analysis
Willingness to understand Microsoft Dynamics environment
Knowledge of Microsoft BI tools including Power BI
Some understanding of C# and .NET and experience working with Visual Studio
Project management methodologies knowledge
IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations and Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC) knowledge
Knowledge of network and telecommunications management
Ability to use laptop, mobile device, and wireless technologies
Analytical approach and way of thinking with care about consequences of actions
Excellent command of English in speaking and writing
Good communication skills in spoken and written English
Bachelor's degree in an IT related major
Knowledge of service order, contract, supplier management, procurement, and/or accounting practices
Project management skills to design and manage complex solutions and delivery to clients
High level of critical thinking and judgement
Attention to detail
Ability to maintain a 'can do' mentality with ability to take charge with minimal information
Ability to choose effective forms of communication to articulate complex problems to non-technical resources

Nice-to-have

Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and/or IWMS software technologies including Portfolio Administration, Transaction/Project Management, Facilities CMMS, Space & Occupancy CAD/CAFM, Business Intelligence/Analytics software
