Responsibilities

Design the behavioural telemetry event and entity-state schemas and write the instrumentation specification engineering builds against
Own the measurement standard including canonical definitions, naming, field ownership, versioned change control across every business unit
Build the models using SQL, BI and roll-up logic turning behaviour into insight on adoption, time-to-value and value realisation
Triangulate behavioural data with qualitative evidence from design research and VoC, segment by user role and account, and publicly address disagreements
Partner on the product, customer and user taxonomies and help shape the analytics stack

Requirements

Direct experience building mixed-method behavioural insight systems combining quantitative behaviour and qualitative evidence
Hands-on event and telemetry schema design with tools like Pendo, Amplitude, Segment, Mixpanel or equivalent
Designing and governing product data models and taxonomies including canonical metrics and naming across multi-product estates
Data governance practice including schema and field ownership, versioned change control, and standards adoption across teams
Fluency in SQL and the BI / warehouse layer with ability to build and validate roll-up logic
Behavioural segmentation judgement understanding diverse motivations within B2B accounts
Credibility to influence without authority and hold standards with teams not line-managed

Nice-to-have

Hands-on behavioural analytics and synthesis practice running analysis directly
Privacy and lawful basis as live design constraints including pseudonymisation, residency, re-identification controls
Experience in GRC, governance or regulated-software domains
Experience with Salesforce, Jira Product Discovery, Pendo and consolidating fragmented tooling into one system of record
Product value and ROI measurement connecting behaviour to commercial outcomes
