Responsibilities

Processing and/or coordinating all orders administratively
Monitoring delivery times to ensure that operations in the production departments do not come to a standstill.
Gathering information and providing information about (new) products to company staff.
Investigating the options available in the supplier market regarding goods and services to be supplied.
In consultation with management, conducting commercial discussions with Suppliers regarding purchases, price agreements and/or annual contracts within the scope of the authority granted.
Is responsible for all procurement (both goods and subcontracting). Takes delivery times and budgets into account. Carries out this work in close collaboration with the project managers/engineers.
Purchasing project-related and standard goods.
Checking that the internal customer has provided all relevant information (specifications). Handling the administrative aspects of purchasing and monitoring delivery times.
Lodging complaints with suppliers in the event of deliveries that deviate from the ordered goods.
Invoice verification
(Co-)managing and maintaining the product archive in the ERP system, in close collaboration with the administrative office.
Selection and assessment of existing and/or new suppliers, including annual supplier evaluations.
Building and maintaining market knowledge of available suppliers and price trends for the Business Units procurement portfolio.
Conducting discussions with suppliers regarding commercial matters and other terms of supply.
Is responsible for the proper recording and storage of data.
Is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of their own equipment.
Performs all other duties that may reasonably be required.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to manage a broad mix of commercial, technical, and administrative responsibilities simultaneously.
Bachelor preferably Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial engineering/ process engineering or related.
NEVI 1 (private) or CIPS level 4 or equivalent procurement certification are strongly preferred for this role
Proven experience handling multiple tasks in parallel, with frequent and efficient switching between priorities.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable role involving both technical and commercial responsibilities.
Fluency in English
Strong ability to organize own work, set priorities, and independently manage urgent matters.
Awareness that errors may impact significant transactions, resulting in loss of revenue or reputational damage.
Ability to identify and correct issues promptly due to close involvement in operational workflows.
Professional handling of regular customer and supplier contact, maintaining stable and constructive relationships at all times.
Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements regarding company data, pricing strategies, and sensitive commercial information.

Reporting to our Managing Directors in Edelény and the main headquarters in the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Technical Procurement Specialist within this technical environment to assist with strategizing, sourcing, and procuring parts critical to our manufacturing operation in Edelény and the Netherlands. The scope of work will include suppliers from Hungary and Europe.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with presence on-site in Edelény required.
