Responsibilities

Lead the development of the future: Drive projects that push composite materials and processes to their limits from prototype through serial production.
Engineer for excellence: Shape the technical roadmap, ensure robust design methods, and make critical decisions that balance performance, manufacturability, and cost.
Command collaboration: Unite and inspire a multidisciplinary team across design, materials, FEM, tooling, and production, ensuring alignment and technical synergy.
Build the framework: Establish systems and processes that enable transparent development documentation, efficient workflows, and smooth transfer from engineering to production.
Mentor and empower: Develop your crew's technical capabilities through coaching, feedback, and hands-on problem-solving to ensure continuous growth and innovation.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field
At least 4 years of professional experience in product or process development, ideally in composites, lightweight structures, or aerospace manufacturing
Proven leadership or advanced project management experience in technical environments
Strong knowledge of material behavior, structural mechanics, and manufacturing processes
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
Fluent in English (C1/C2); German is also nice to have for on-site collaboration
