Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the commercial growth by planning, purchasing and developing the brand and product portfolio for ABOUT YOU's Online Outlet
Ensuring that existing brands and suppliers are fully leveraging their potential
Maximising assortment opportunities and availability while minimizing risk and adhering to the planned budget
Managing strategic brand and supplier partnerships
Leading negotiations on terms and conditions when purchasing products from suppliers and external brands
Collaborating closely with various departments within the ABOUT YOU organisation, from Merchandise Management, Conditions Management and Supply Chain Management

Requirements

Requirements

Degree in economics or business studies
At least four years of professional experience in a position for independent purchasing of external brands
Desirable are professional experiences in working with companies/brands in an off-price or outlet segment as well as in driving campaigns for certain categories or brands
Strong analytical skills, logical thinking and confidence in working with numbers and data
Strong communication skills and assertiveness as well as several years of negotiating experience
Structured approach and reliability even in phases of high stress
Distinct sense of trends and understanding of fashion
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German
