Responsibilities
Teaching Assistants work alongside the class teachers to support children in the delivery of our high standard of educational excellence. The role requires Teaching Assistants to be integral in children’s learning through discussions and observations with the class teacher but also through planning and delivering lessons that provide ambitious learning outcomes for all.
Our Primary School takes children at age 3 from a range of international backgrounds. Learning Support Assistants work in any area of the primary school supporting children from age 3 to 11.
The British International School, Budapest is an English speaking and the successful candidate is required to have a high level of spoken and written English.

Requirements
Requirements:
- be able to work collaboratively with a range of staff, parents and students.
- be highly motivated individual, with the ability to inspire and engage students of a wide range of backgrounds and cultures;
- be highly ICT literate;
- be experienced in teaching students for whom English is an additional language;
- be able to offer one or more extra-curricular activities;
- be experienced in supporting students learning, preferably in line with the National Curriculum for England.
