Tax Administration Specialist

Our international partner is expanding its Tax Department and is looking for a Tax Administration Specialist for its Budapest Business Service Center.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in Finance Administration, AP/AR or Master Data, who would like to move towards a Tax-focused career path and develop their knowledge in tax compliance within an international environment.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the international Tax team mainly with administrative and control-related tasks:

• Maintaining and updating customer and vendor master data (e.g. tax numbers, tax forms)
• Reviewing tax-related forms (W-8, W-9) for completeness and correctness
• Verifying tax identification numbers in internal systems and external tools
• Supporting annual tax reporting processes in cooperation with external partners
• Checking invoices based on required compliance documentation
• Preparing basic tax certificates and confirmation forms
• Supporting international teams with simple reports and questionnaires

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar field
• 1-2 years of experience in Finance Administration, AP/AR, Master Data or similar operational finance role
• Interest in Tax and Compliance processes, willingness to learn and grow in this field
• Confident English knowledge
• Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
• Accurate, detail-oriented working style
