Responsibilities

  • Assessment and breakdown of customer requirements to lower level system and subsystem requirements
  • Proposal of system architecture design
  • Performance of project RAMS analyses including FMEA, FMECA, statistical reliability and availability analysis, and safety analysis
  • Component, module level, and system verification planning and support of test execution process
  • Collaboration with design engineers, product assurance, external customers and suppliers to achieve mission objectives
  • Analysis and enhancement of efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources and processes
  • Organization of activities according to ECSS System Engineering standards

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Sciences
  • Knowledge of RAMS engineering processes, methods and tools including FMEA, fault tree, and reliability analysis
  • Experience with requirement engineering techniques
  • Knowledge of relevant ECSS standards including dependability, safety, and verification standards
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Fluent English

Nice-to-have

  • In-depth statistics and reliability mathematics experience and background
  • System and equipment engineering-related technical disciplines with focus on electronics and system engineering
  • Work experience in space, aerospace, or automotive industry
  • Knowledge of other applicable standards such as NASA and MIL
  • Experience with Excel and Visual Basic macros
  • Experience in quality management techniques
