University or college degree
Strong commercial and operation experience
End to End knowledge of Tesco business
Strong communication skills
Upper-intermediate English knowledge (spoken & written)
Negotiation, influencing & relationship building skills
Business and financial awareness
Business Acumen around the cost to move goods, geographical knowledge

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

End To End opportunity within the Business both Operationally and for Product to simplify and reduce the cost to serve for the Business

Negotiating with suppliers the new practices for the Business going forward, facilitating the meetings with the Local Product Team and the relevant Supplier with view to optimize the streaming of product
Managing communication between Distribution Project Teams and suppliers on professional level, with focus on balanced cooperation
Support for local Buyers and the Product Team in Negotiations about Distribution related projects with the Suppliers
Responsible for working with the natural working team to support implementation of PBS to PBL changes of fast moving lines for end to end operational benefits which will release a financial benefit to the business
Supporting the Packaging Agenda within the Business with a view to move more product on Pallets, Half Pallets, and other delivery methods which are beneficial to a more productive supply chain with one touch replenishment benefits for both Stores and Distribution.
Supporting with the upscaling of the Supplier Conformance Department working closely with the Product Team and Suppliers
Building capability in the product team around the topic, working shoulder to shoulder with the buyers, CBMs & TDs to optimize the relevant KPIs
Building on knowledge gained and data, searching for further opportunities to optimize alongside functional teams
Monitoring and reporting progress to Senior Management.
Compiling the program-related financial and KPI information, ensuring the appropriate program benefits are identified and quantified
Updating and maintaining the Negotiation Trackers, Risk Log, Action Log, Decisions Log, and Issue Register, or providing the right tools
Work on self development in Negotiation, Communication skills
Support Range Review processes (Agile, Major) by providing insights and proposals, Support Top-to-Top process (HU specific)
