Responsibilities

1. Quality Improvement

Support plant quality teams with supplier corrective actions (8D)
Improve performance of underperforming suppliers
Strengthen and further develop high-performing suppliers
Work closely with internal quality teams

2. Supplier Assessment & Development

Lead new supplier assessments and audits
Act as the single point of contact for supplier quality performance
Conduct periodic supplier audits when required
Provide technical support and share best-practice or benchmarking materials

3. New Product & Future Programs

Ensure timely sourcing and tool kick-off for new and future model programs
Monitor and support supplier quality during product launch

4. General Responsibilities

Support supplier change requests
Provide input into commodity and sourcing strategy
Regular travel to supplier locations (approx. 60% office / 40% travel)

Requirements

Relevant technical/manufacturing qualification.
Educated to Bachelor degree level (preferably in engineering)
3 years experience in manufacturing/quality field / automotive industry is advantage

Personality expectations, competencies

Good English written and oral communication skills.
Second language is preferable.
Person is organized and self motivated
