Build a platform integrations between Designate and external platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Bluesky, Mastodon, etc)—including authentication, API calls, and error handling
Create comprehensive documentation including step-by-step setup guides, code examples, and/or video tutorials that enable other researchers to use the platform
Design and run experimental prototypes to test the integration, developing automated tests and troubleshooting workflows
Contribute to open-source codebase with version-controlled, well-documented code
Collaborate with international research team on software development for social science experimentation

Enrolled student at a German university
Python programming skills (experience with FastAPI, async code, and modern Python 3.8+)
Understanding of API development and RESTful services
Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control and Docker containerization
Technical writing ability to create clear documentation for researchers
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on software development tasks
Desirable but not required: PostgreSQL/SQL experience, social media API knowledge, understanding of experimental design methods
