Responsibilities

Are you passionate about structural analysis and feel at home in the world of stress, hand calculations and SRM? Then you are exactly right with us. In this role, you will work on challenging aerospace programs and contribute your extensive experience to the assessment, substantiation and optimization of aircraft structures.

Structural stress analysis are performed and evaluated using both FEM methods and classical hand calculations
The Structural Repair Manual (SRM) is used on a regular basis, with relevant references being confidently incorporated into analyses and repair assessments
FEM models, model descriptions and validation reports (e.g. Nastran / Patran) are reviewed and technically assessed
The creation and consolidation of DAG Structural Analysis Reports is also part of the scope of responsibilities
In addition, production deviations and non-conformities (concessions) are evaluated, along with flexible support of further stress-related tasks depending on program requirements

Requirements

A completed Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field forms your technical foundation
6-10 years of professional experience in stress analysis, including 6-10 years in a comparable role
Very good knowledge of FEM, particularly Nastran and Patran, complemented by confident hand calculations, set you apart
Extensive hands-on experience with the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and structural repair assessments rounds out your profile
A dedicated, solution-oriented and independent working style, along with excellent English skills (C1), make you a true professional
