About this role
We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships – Microsoft Lead to manage Vodafone Group’s partnership portfolio with Microsoft. The role focuses on end to end partnership management regarding understanding partner programmes, managing incentive portfolios, and ensuring effective collaboration with internal teams and Microsoft stakeholders. The individual will act as the key point of expertise for the Microsoft partnership, ensuring programmes are well governed, clearly understood, and consistently delivered across markets.
What you will do
- Lead global incentive programme operations for Vodafone Group’s strategic partnership with Microsoft, ensuring accurate claims, reporting and distribution.
- Act as subject matter expert for Microsoft incentive programmes, including Microsoft Elevate, managing multi million funding portfolios.
- Translate contractual Proof of Execution (PoE) obligations into operational processes and oversee the full claim lifecycle.
- Provide management reporting, insights and analytics on incentive performance to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with Group Finance, Compliance teams, and service delivery partners to ensure strong financial governance and accurate reporting.
- Support and lead Global Partner Office team members through guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Manage partner audits, working with external auditors and internal teams to maintain partnership status and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, standardisation and continuous improvement across strategic partnership operations.
- Collaborate with Group Strategic Partnerships and Product teams to support programme expansion and alignment.
Who you are
- An experienced professional with a strong background in incentive operations, partner programmes, finance or controlling.
- Confident working with complex contracts, financial processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including C level audiences, with clear and persuasive communication skills.
- Experienced in managing cross functional or virtual teams within a matrix organisation.
- Analytical, commercially aware, and able to navigate ambiguity while delivering quality outcomes on time.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools; SAP, SOX or IFRS knowledge is advantageous.
