Responsibilities

Main Tasks:

Supporting the Stewarding Supervisor / Stewarding Staff
Ensuring professional and courteous service at all times
Ensuring a clean and organized workplace
Understanding all services and products offered by the hotel
Monitoring operating supplies, equipment, and successfully reducing spoilage and waste
Immediately reporting equipment failures or malfunctions to the department manager
Wearing a clean and proper uniform, including safety shoes and name tag, and maintaining a high standard of personal appearance at all times
Supporting good and collegial cooperation within your own department and with other departments of the hotel
Sharing responsibility for smooth organization and workflows throughout the stewarding department
Supporting supervisors in preparing goods requisitions
Cleaning and washing pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment in accordance with hotel standards
Ensuring compliance with all waste separation regulations
Knowledge and understanding of all cleaning procedures for dishwashers and the types of chemicals used.

Requirements

Desired skills and qualifications:

NATIONALITY:

Eligible for a working permit in country of hire

EXPERIENCE:

One (1) years in a similar position within a luxury brand or an international company

LANGUAGE: Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:

Local language – excellent oral and written skills
English – excellent oral and written skills
Additional language - beneficial
