Tasks:
- Manage end-to-end local statutory reporting processes for selected EMEA and/or APAC legal entities
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Review and oversee statutory adjustments prepared by the SSC Cebu team and external service providers
- Prepare and review reconciliations between statutory, tax, and US-GAAP ledgers for assigned countries
- Collaborate closely with external tax advisors in the preparation of tax returns
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of statutory financial statements and tax calculations
- Monitor and maintain compliance with local regulatory and reporting requirements
- Support and coordinate statutory audit processes
- Apply strong IFRS and/or US-GAAP knowledge in daily operations and reporting activities
- Work effectively in an international environment with cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve and streamline statutory accounting processes
Requirements:
- Excellent command of Spanish & English, both written and spoken
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in an international environment
- Strong and practical knowledge of IFRS and/or US-GAAP standards
- Proven experience in statutory accounting and reporting
- Big4 and/or ACCA (or equivalent professional qualification) is an advantage
- Relevant international statutory reporting experience is a strong plus
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to document and structure complex processes clearly
- Ability to understand business processes and accounting/tax workflows
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Flexible mindset and ability to work effectively under simultaneous deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
