Responsibilities

Architect and deliver secure, high-performance microservices primarily on AWS using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK
Deliver end-to-end software solutions in Python and Node.js, including development, deployment, monitoring, and production support
Set technical direction across multiple teams and propose improvements at scale
Mentor engineers on best practices in Python, Terraform, software architecture, and emerging technologies
Lead design decisions for embedding AI in systems and advise on responsible AI adoption
Partner with Product, Security, and DevOps teams to shape technical roadmaps and ensure compliance
Engage with engineering teams to design scalable solutions and pilot new tools
Take full accountability for assigned tasks and Epics ensuring high quality, robust testing, and maintainable CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

7–10 years of experience delivering secure, scalable applications in agile environments
Deep expertise in architecture and design of modern microservices (preferably AWS serverless) using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript
Advanced proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (especially Terraform), containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
Experience integrating security best practices in Python code and Terraform automation
Proven ability to influence engineering culture and mentor peers in Python development and Terraform infrastructure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of both technical and business aspects
Deep understanding of AI integration in frontend applications including prompt engineering, model architectures, bias and safety concerns
