Responsibilities

Design-Lead of the satellite's Avionics architecture
Definition and development of the Avionics architecture of the satellite (initial sizing and trade-offs, interface budgets, and hardware performance)
Management of avionics subsystems (including data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, and crypto)
Design Authority during the detailed design and testing phases
Management of the interface and control on the physical level and across the protocol stack
Riskmanagement and mitigation during the development phase
Test planning and supervision
Non-conformance closure

Requirements

A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification
Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain needed
Profund experience in leading technical teams of at least 2 domains
Familiar with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
Fluency in English, spoken and written
Fluency in German is a plus (company-facilitated trainings available)
