SOURCING SUPPORT

SUPPORT IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

The Sourcing Support gives all necessary support to the Spare Tooling Procurement Organisation to reach the customer demands and fulfil targets in timing, productivity and quality. This position will assist in the efficient and effective Sourcing Process of purchase orders and ensure data maintenance and accuracy.

Process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
Create RFQ and bidding overview; conduct Supplier Negotiations after the RFQ process
Problem-solving with suppliers and internal functions
Review open orders and communication/escalation of external and internal discrepancies to relevant buyer
Create & update supplier information via supplier set up application and maintain data accuracy
Interact with all relevant internal departments on procurement matters
Support other team members and co-departments to achieve TE targets of TTM, savings, quality and delivery
Contribute in implementing TE Procurement strategy
Drive ad hoc queries and work on assigned commodity projects
Ensure compliance to TE policies, procedures and quality standards
Generate and analyse data and reports to track individual and supplier performance
Check invoices for purchase orders and resolve discrepancies on invoicing, including internal and external communication and follow up invoice release process per delegation of authority

KEY QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGE:

Business or Technical University degree or equivalent experience
Commercial background is advantage
1-2 years experience in sourcing support or procurement is preferred
Ability to work in matrix environment with an international team
Demonstrate customer focus and continues improvement attitude
Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Team player
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency
Strong analytical skills
Solution-oriented problem solving
Excellent communication skills in English
Communication skills in German is a plus
SAP knowledge is a plus
Negotiation skills is a plus
