Responsibilities
We are seeking a full-time Software Tester to enhance our Internal Development team at Blue Lagoon Iceland, focusing on API and automated testing.
The ideal candidate is results-driven with a keen eye for detail. You will be tasked with the critical role of testing our software products, identifying and debug issues, collaborating to devise solutions, and documenting test outcomes.
You will engage with product owners, specialists, and developers to guarantee the delivery of quality products to our operational teams in Iceland.
As this is a new role within our team, the candidate will be expected to establish QA processes and configure test environments as well as test data within our systems.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position
- ISTQB certification is required
- Independent and disciplined work ethic, excellent communication, and analytical skills are required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English mandatory
- Proficiency in executing manual test plans, automated test scripts, recording outcomes, reporting anomalies, and detailing software defects in written bug reports
- Prior experience with API testing is highly desirable
Nice-to-have
- While knowledge of Business Central or LS Retail products is beneficial, it is not a primary focus for this position
- A general understanding of SQL is beneficial
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools is advantageous
