Responsibilities
Manage a team of highly skilled engineers focusing on accelerated data processing solutions development
Lead and motivate team to conduct projects meeting internal and external customer needs
Collaborate with deep learning software engineering community to contribute to and improve open source code bases
Build and maintain project roadmap aligning with goals and customer expectations
Determine project goals and scope, ensuring execution and delivery
Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment promoting innovation and creativity

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience including 3+ years in team management with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in designing and testing large scale software with solid examples
Proficiency in C++ and Python
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with open source community

Nice-to-have
Experience with image processing or compression, computer vision, or 3D graphics algorithms, Expertise in parallel programming and performance optimization on modern computer architectures (e.g., CUDA, MPI, NVSHMEM, NCCL, AVX), Experience managing an open source project including GitHub, bug tracking, branching and merging code, OSS licensing issues, and patches, Prior experience working with distributed teams
