Responsibilities

Ownership and independent delivery of well-defined stories with understanding of team architecture, frameworks, and tools
Active contribution to code reviews, testing practices, and maintenance of service stability
Support and guidance of junior engineers fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback
Maintenance of healthy development flow by adhering to Agile processes and driving iterative enhancements
Design and implementation of AI-powered product features including LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and tool-use patterns shipping to customers
Use of AI-augmented development workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing
Understanding of core LLM concepts and recognition of safe versus unsafe use cases with flagging of ethical, privacy, or cost concerns

Requirements

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with core AI concepts including tokens, context length, embeddings, hallucinations, and high-level LLM behavior
Skill in AI tooling and practices including use of AI to boost productivity, prompt engineering, and responsible evaluation of AI outputs
Backend proficiency in building RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript, Docker/container workflows, Git version control, and hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
Frontend proficiency with strong experience in React for building modern, component-based web interfaces
Hands-on experience with AWS services and familiarity with infrastructure as code such as CDK or Terraform
Experience or interest in CI/CD pipeline setup and exploration of AI-assisted DevOps tooling
Comfortable collaboration and communication including discussing architectural decisions, documenting designs, and presenting technical ideas clearly
