Responsibilities

Ownership and delivery of well-defined stories independently
Contribution to code reviews, testing practices, and service stability maintenance
Support and guidance of junior engineers fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
Maintenance of healthy development flow by adhering to Agile processes and driving iterative enhancements
Design and implementation of AI-powered product features including LLM integrations and agentic workflows
Use of AI-augmented development workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing
Understanding of core LLM concepts and recognition of safe versus unsafe use cases

Requirements

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with core AI concepts including tokens, context length, embeddings, and hallucinations
Skill in AI tooling and practices including prompt engineering and responsible evaluation of AI outputs
Backend proficiency in building RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript, Docker/container workflows, Git version control, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
Frontend proficiency with React for building modern, component-based web interfaces
Hands-on experience with AWS services and familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform)
Experience or interest in CI/CD pipeline setup and AI-assisted DevOps tooling
Comfortable collaboration and communication including architectural discussions and technical documentation
