Responsibilities

Building secure, scalable serverless microservices and AI-powered features using TypeScript and React on AWS for the Risk Manager platform
Owning and delivering well-defined stories independently with a clear grasp of team architecture, frameworks, and tools
Contributing to code reviews, testing practices, and maintaining service stability
Supporting and guiding junior engineers, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback
Maintaining healthy development flow by adhering to Agile processes and driving iterative enhancements
Designing and implementing AI-powered product features including LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and tool-use patterns
Using AI-augmented development workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing
Understanding core LLM concepts and recognizing safe vs. unsafe use cases, flagging ethical, privacy, or cost concerns

Requirements

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with core AI concepts including tokens, context length, embeddings, hallucinations, and high-level LLM behavior
Skill in AI tooling and practices including using AI to boost productivity, prompt engineering, and responsible evaluation of AI outputs
Backend proficiency including building RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript, Docker/container workflows, Git version control, and hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
Strong frontend experience with React for building modern, component-based web interfaces
Hands-on experience with AWS services and familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform)
Experience or interest in CI/CD pipeline setup and AI-assisted DevOps tooling
Comfortable discussing architectural decisions, documenting designs, and presenting technical ideas clearly
