Responsibilities

Ownership and delivery of well-defined stories independently
Contribution to code reviews, testing practices, and service stability maintenance
Support and guidance of junior engineers
Maintenance of healthy development flow by adhering to Agile processes and driving iterative enhancements
Design and implementation of AI-powered product features including LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and tool-use patterns
Use of AI-augmented development workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing
Understanding of core LLM concepts and recognition of safe vs. unsafe use cases

Requirements

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with core AI concepts including tokens, context length, embeddings, hallucinations
Understanding of high-level LLM behavior and recognition of safe vs. unsafe use cases regarding privacy, security, and fairness
Use of AI to boost productivity and skill in prompt engineering
Experience building RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript
Experience with Docker/container workflows
Experience with Git version control
Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
Strong experience with React for building modern, component-based web interfaces
Hands-on experience with AWS services
Experience or interest in CI/CD pipeline setup
Comfortable discussing architectural decisions, documenting designs, and presenting technical ideas

Nice-to-have

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as CDK or Terraform
