Responsibilities

Building and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems
Tackling significant development tasks independently
Contributing to project delivery
Collaborating closely with the team on feature implementation and issue resolution
Playing a key role in cross-team collaboration for platform building and growth
Documenting developments at the appropriate abstraction level to scale adoption

Requirements

3+ years of experience with Java or other JVM-based languages
Hands-on experience with the Spring framework
Writing clean, maintainable code
Strong belief in best practices like code reviews, open feedback, and continuous improvement
Familiarity with backend development including databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Experience with synchronous/asynchronous communication and distributed systems
Experience with web development technologies such as REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to design technical solutions balancing latency, throughput, adaptability and scalability
Customer-first approach prioritizing work that solves real customer pain points
Ability to take ownership of problems and drive projects end-to-end
Strong communication skills for breaking down complex technical concepts
Proactive mindset for improving codebase, architecture, and processes
Passion for knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of learning
