Responsibilities

Development and continuous improvement of internal developer portal based on Backstage
Creation of application skeletons and templates for efficient new application starts
Building developer-facing tools and workflows using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web technologies
Integration of existing application stacks, particularly in Java and/or C# environments
Development and maintenance of tailor-made GitHub Actions for CI/CD environment
Automation of build, test, and deployment processes
Collaboration with software engineering, DevOps, and platform teams and support with platform, tooling, and software delivery questions
Continuous monitoring and implementation of improvements to developer experience

Requirements

Solid experience in software engineering with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
Practical enterprise experience with Java or C#
Several years of hands-on software engineering experience
Design of pragmatic, maintainable solutions
Experience with developer platforms, Backstage, or similar portal and platform concepts
Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD concepts, and DevOps principles
English skills at level B2
Good knowledge of at least one Swiss national language
