Responsibilities

implementing and testing network theory and statistical algorithms
participating in the documentation of research and development grant applications
scientific literature search and processing
communicating with research partners
working according to ISO 9001 standards

Requirements

relevant university degree (bioinformatician / biologist / bioengineer / biotechnologist / info-bionic engineer / molecular bionic engineer / doctor of medicine / pharmacist)
advanced level programming skills
confident molecular biology skills
minimum intermediate level statistical skills
knowledge of PHP/JavaScript (client-side or NodeJS), web technologies
active English language skills

flexibility and ability to work under pressure

Nice-to-have

previous participation in bioinformatics research projects
experience in analyzing RNA sequence or other omics data
knowledge of C/C++, python, R programming languages
experience using the UNIX (GNU/Linux) command line
knowledge of a version control system (e.g. git)
knowledge of database systems (e.g. MySQL)
solid mathematical theoretical background
