SOC engineer

• Design, implement, and strengthen security protection for IT cloud platforms, ensuring security at both infrastructure and application layers
• Participate in regular red-team/blue-team exercises, identify system vulnerabilities and security weaknesses, and propose remediation plans
• Monitor and analyze security events, conduct threat detection, investigation, and incident response with comprehensive root cause analysis
• Perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and code security audits to assess system risk posture
• Establish and enforce security operational standards, operationalize threat intelligence detection and defense
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security requirements into system design and deployment processes

Experience
 

• 1~5 years of information security or ITexperience.

Optional Skills and Abilities


Path A: Security Development
 

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, C++, or similar) for developing security tools and automation scripts
• Proven experience in tool development, testing framework design, or automated vulnerability detection tool creation
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); experience with cloud platform hardening is a plus
   

Path B: Security Operations
 

• Background in SOC (Security Operations Center) operations with expertise in security event monitoring, analysis, and incident response
• Proficiency with security operations tools including log analysis, threat detection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Practical experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, etc.) for vulnerability assessment and risk evaluation
• Experience with cloud platform (AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, etc.) security operations or hardening is preferred

• Security certifications: CISSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, CKA, or equivalent
• Experience in cloud-native security or DevSecOps
• Strong ability to read and understand technical documentation in English

A Security Analyst is a member of the SOC team will monitor security events that are generated by Security systems or platforms and investigates those events to determine any potential threats to the customer’s environment. Also, handle all incident escalations by customer and help them by providing root cause analysis report and recommendations.
