Responsibilities
We're seeking a proactive Shift Manager to lead and coordinate inspection teams within a fast-paced manufacturing/automotive environment. You’ll ensure safe, efficient operations and deliver quality results that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure team compliance with G&P and OEM HS&E standards.
- Deliver "right first time" project execution with proper training and documentation.
- Manage shift resources for maximum efficiency.
- Set up and oversee customer projects, ensuring all agreements are documented.
- Escalate specialist support requests and ensure correct delivery via technical teams.
- Monitor shift activities, resolving issues promptly.
- Support recruitment, development, and performance of team members.
- Assist the Plant Manager/Operations Manager in achieving KPIs.
- Collaborate with Quality Department to resolve audit issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation (e.g., shift reports, training records, incident reports).
Requirements
- Experience leading teams (10+) in automotive/manufacturing/logistics/FMCG/pharma,
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills,
- Able to implement and manage standard processes,
- Advanced English,
- Basic IT/computer literacy.
Nice-to-have
- Quality inspection background,
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP,
- Work instruction writing, CAD interpretation, 8D tools, process audits,
- Engineering qualifications,
- Basic German knowledge.
