Responsibilities
Act as the technical expert supporting Datapao’s sales efforts to help customers understand data science and AI solutions.
Bridge Sales and Delivery to ensure smooth handover and alignment with customer goals.
Drive customer calls and discovery sessions to uncover technical needs and guide solution design.
Lead scoping discussions and contribute to proposal creation with precise technical input.
Develop and deliver demos or proof-of-concepts showcasing Datapao’s data science or Databricks’ platform capabilities.
Build long-term relationships as a trusted technical advisor for assigned accounts.
Track customer goals and evolving use cases, identifying new opportunities.
Collaborate with delivery teams to surface upsell or expansion opportunities.
Stay connected with active projects to support technical consistency and alignment.
Lead project syncs, identify risks early, and assist in mitigation planning.
Provide technical guidance and maintain alignment between sales and delivery.
Improve scoping and selling of technical work by refining playbooks, templates, and processes.
Improve tooling for scoping and automate estimation where possible.
Share best practices and insights to improve technical sales approach.
Contribute to design and go-to-market strategy of packaged and repeatable solutions.
Develop bespoke go-to-market solutions.
Provide technical input and validation for proposed data science solutions.
Create technical content such as blogs, demos, reference architectures, and solution guides.
Serve as a technical advocate and thought leader to strengthen technical credibility.
Represent Datapao at industry events, meetups, conferences, and Databricks field events.
Drive development of materials highlighting Datapao’s expertise and customer success.

Strong consulting mindset and passion for customer success.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain data science concepts to business and technical audiences.
Ability to translate business needs into data science solutions and communicate trade-offs.
Proactive ownership and comfort leading technical discussions and driving clarity.
Fluent in English and willing to travel occasionally (mainly within the EU, up to ~10%).
Strong background in Data Science and ML concepts including Generative AI solutions and modern frameworks/libraries.
Solid Python skills and understanding of common DS/ML libraries.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with data visualization tools and their data-source connectivity patterns (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Databricks AI/BI).
Experience with distributed computing (Spark) and MLOps.
Experience with Databricks is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain data science concepts to business and technical audiences.
