Responsibilities

Contribution to test strategy and development of test plans for future Arm products
Definition and improvement of test architecture for automated testing and validation
Development of test cases for embedded Linux systems from first power on to end-to-end use cases
Building validation tests for underlying hardware acceptance
Cooperation with developer teams to ensure new features are well tested
Participation in the release process and technical support for partners

Requirements

Practical understanding of test design methodology and implementation
Experience testing complex software products, build systems and CI pipelines
Programming skills in Python and shell scripting
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with developers and support colleagues

Nice-to-have

Embedded Linux, RTOS, kernel or firmware experience
Understanding of hardware-software interactions and low-level software behaviour
Specific experience with pytest, Yocto, GitLab
Knowledge of the Arm architecture and reference software
Active participation in the open source community and the Arm ecosystem
