Responsibilities

  • Contribution to test strategy and development of test plans for future Arm products
  • Definition and improvement of test architecture for automated testing and validation
  • Development of test cases for embedded Linux systems from first power on to end-to-end use cases
  • Building validation tests for underlying hardware acceptance
  • Cooperation with developer teams to ensure new features are well tested
  • Participation in release process and technical support for partners

Requirements

  • Practical understanding of test design methodology and implementation
  • Experience testing complex software products, build systems and CI pipelines
  • Programming skills in Python and shell scripting
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with developers and support colleagues

Nice-to-have

  • Embedded Linux, RTOS, kernel or firmware experience
  • Understanding of hardware-software interactions and low-level software behaviour
  • Specific experience with pytest, Yocto, GitLab
  • Knowledge of the Arm architecture and reference software
  • Active participation in the open source community and the Arm ecosystem
