About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Software Project Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for embedded software development within our Electrification business unit. In this key role, you will lead cross-functional software teams, steer complex development projects, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of software solutions for electrified powertrain systems. You will act as the central interface between internal functions, customers, and external partners, aligning technical solutions with project and business objectives in a dynamic automotive environment.

Your future with us:

  • Lead and coordinate all software development activities across the complete project lifecycle
  • Define, implement, and track software project plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards (e.g. ASPICE, ISO 26262) and customer-specific requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for software-related topics towards internal teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Track project progress, proactively manage risks, and initiate corrective actions when necessary
  • Support effort estimation, resource planning, and transparent reporting to management
  • Actively support the continuous improvement and reshaping of our software development processes
  • Foster a collaborative, structured, and agile software development environment

Requirements

You are a strong communicator and leader with a solid technical background. Ideally, you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in software development and software project management
  • A strong understanding of automotive software development processes and standards
  • Proven experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus

What we offer

Innovation, creative freedom and responsibility can be lived with us. This is supported by attractive additional benefits, such as:

  • Flexible working hours with flexitime
  • 30 vacation days
  • Promotion of private further education
  • Ergonomic workplaces, subsidized food in the canteen, free parking garage
  • Sustainable, environmentally conscious location
  • Attractive salary package in an area of the metal and electrical industry
