Responsibilities
Understanding product requirements and vision with Product Line Leaders
Translating requirements and vision into prioritized list of user stories
Developing multi generation software technology plans with product line leaders and architects
Defining, developing, and evolving software in an agile development environment
Collaborating with system engineers, frontend developers and backend developers to implement solutions
Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean, Agile, XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring and Testing Techniques
Writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality
Building features such as web services and queries on existing tables
Understanding performance parameters and assessing application performance
Working on core data structures and algorithms and implementing them
Supporting process improvements for development, sustaining and support activities
Proactively sharing information across the team with appropriate detail and timeliness

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors or equivalent
5+ years of experience as a software developer
Intermediate+ verbal and written communication skills in English
Extensive experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST, SOAP
Experience in developing containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes or similar
Experience in automated tests like unit libraries such as JUnit, Mockito
Working knowledge with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as GitHub or Gitlab
5+ years of experience as a software developer
Intermediate+ verbal and written communication skills in English
