Responsibilities

Design and own secure, scalable services end-to-end
Guide technical decisions and evaluate trade-offs across reliability, performance, maintainability, and cost
Architect and deliver AI and agentic product capabilities including LLM integrations, multi-step agentic workflows and intelligent automation
Lead AI-augmented development practices using Claude Code and agentic coding workflows
Use the AI SDLC to plan technical work and help shape team operations
Drive architectural decisions and influence execution including work breakdown, cadence, and commitments
Work effectively across the stack with full-stack ownership
Coach peers and mentor junior engineers
Partner closely with Product, Security, DevOps, and other teams to align on features, deployment, and compliance
Work directly with internal product teams to gather feedback and enable practical solutions
Join a team with strong automated pipelines, healthy engineering habits, and fast feedback loops

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering in an agile environment delivering secure, scalable services
Understanding of high-level LLM concepts such as hallucinations and prompt sensitivity
Experience using AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and prototyping with critical review of outputs
Skill in prompt engineering including designing reusable prompts and coaching peers
Proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript for RESTful APIs (OpenAPI)
Hands-on experience with AWS serverless patterns
Comfort with infrastructure as code (CDK/Terraform)
Experience with containerization (Docker)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases and schema design for performance
Application of security best practices in code and deployments including IAM and secrets management
Strong communication of technical and AI-related concepts to diverse stakeholders
