Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and maintain secure, high-performance microservices on AWS, utilizing Python and infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform.
Work closely with fellow engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver features, troubleshoot issues, and contribute solutions.
Author, maintain, and optimize Terraform modules to automate cloud resource provisioning and manage environments.
Write well-structured, maintainable code with comprehensive automated tests for reliable deployments and robust CI/CD pipelines.
Share technical knowledge with peers, participate in code reviews, and mentor less experienced team members in Python and Terraform.
Identify and address pain points in the engineering process, recommend tooling enhancements, and pilot new technologies where appropriate.
Design and develop AI libraries and frameworks to help accelerate value delivery across AI platform services.
Prepare clear documentation for infrastructure, APIs, and development processes. Communicate technical decisions and their business impact confidently.

Requirements
5–8 years of experience building secure, scalable applications in agile environments.
Strong proficiency in designing and developing microservices (preferably AWS serverless) using Python and Node.js.
Hands-on expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, with experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and modern observability and monitoring tools.
Solid understanding of security best practices in Python and Terraform implementations.
Collaborative track record, able to work effectively alongside product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with full AI-based solution lifecycle.
