Responsibilities

Work with clients and the global Orchestro team.
Join a cross-functional squad owning an end-to-end slice of Orchestro platform.
Anchor high-impact initiatives bridging product vision with technical execution.
Prototype solution options, articulate trade-offs, and guide team toward architectures.
Own critical services, model testing, observability, and security practices.
Drive complex refactors to keep platform scalable and maintainable.
Lead post-incident reviews and automate guardrails for continuous delivery.
Mentor engineers of every level and share learnings across McKinsey’s global tech community.
Shape product roadmap and technical strategy of Orchestro platform.
Collaborate with domain-driven-design and platform-engineering experts.

Requirements

5+ years of experience delivering and operating production systems.
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills with proficiency in Node.js & React.
Experience designing scalable solutions around bounded contexts and event-driven or API-based integrations.
Deep familiarity with automated testing strategies, CI/CD, and Kubernetes deployments.
Demonstrated record of mentoring engineers and driving cross-team technical initiatives.
Fluent English for day-to-day collaboration and stakeholder discussions.
