Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable web applications
Bring in industry standards and best practices to continuously simplify the current software architecture to reduce complexity and maintenance cost
Solve hard problems where lateral thinking is required
Monitor the production systems to spot improvement opportunities
Make a positive impact on our engineering culture by adopting, implementing, and providing feedback on best standards and practices

4+ years of frontend development experience with modern frameworks (React / JavaScript / TypeScript / CSS)
3+ years of backend development experience with Java (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot) and REST APIs
Experience building production-grade, scalable, and maintainable systems
Knowledge of microservices, automated testing, design patterns, containerized architectures, and tools like Swagger or mocks
A proactive attitude with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to challenge the status quo
Comfort taking ownership from ideation to deployment, balancing technical excellence with business goals
Strong communication skills in Italian and English, and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have: Experience in FinTech and/or mentoring team members
