Responsibilities

Building scalable testing frameworks
Designing comprehensive test suites covering unit, integration, and acceptance testing
Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle
Providing metrics and reporting on test coverage, quality trends, and system reliability
Building and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for test infrastructure
Developing data quality checks to ensure integrity across pipelines and databases
Investigating and triaging test failures, working with development teams to identify root causes and implement fixes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related quantitative field
5-10 years of test automation experience with strong coding skills (Python required)
Strong experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, etc.)
Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
Experience with version control systems (git)
Solid foundation in testing methodologies and quality assurance principles
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Self-motivation with ability to drive projects independently

Nice-to-have

Experience with data quality/lineage platforms (Manta/Ataccama)
Background in performance/load testing tools
API and contract testing experience
Experience with data engineering concepts and tools
Experience with monitoring/observability tools
