Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack, Node.js / React)

You will play a key role in modernizing our MES landscape by replacing two legacy systems with a unified platform. As a senior engineer and technical leader, you will shape architecture, guide the team, and drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a new MES platform based on a modern technology stack
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js
• Develop scalable frontend applications with React
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational data models (PostgreSQL experience is a plus)
• Lead the technical transition from legacy systems to the new platform
• Mentor and support other team members in modern technologies and development practices
• Promote clean code, testing, and maintainable architectures
• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and manufacturing domain experts
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy
• Support deployment, operation, and troubleshooting in production environments

• Senior-level experience as a Fullstack Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of React and frontend architecture
• Proven ability to design and consume REST APIs
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Experience working with legacy systems and system modernization projects
• Ability to mentor others and explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Good English skills (spoken and written)

Nice to have

• Experience with MES, manufacturing, or industrial software
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
