Responsibilities
- Contribution to Customer Platform team
- Delivery of high-quality NodeJS, TypeScript and React code with simplicity, performance, and scalability
- Design and implementation of client and database-related application features
- Maintenance and development in NodeJS, TypeScript, React, NestJS, REST, RDBMS and backend applications
- Support, refinement and suggestion of improvements to the current codebase
- Provision of expertise and review of pull requests suggesting improvements and best practices
- Participation in the whole Software Development Life Cycle including design of new features and services
- Application of an engineering mindset focusing on functionality, scalability and improvement
Requirements
- At least 5+ years experience in fullstack software engineering (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, REST, RDBMS, NOSQL)
- Agile and iterative mindset with end-to-end responsibility
- End to end ownership from product requirements, planning, implementation and rollout
- Strong experience in automated tests
- Strong experience in performance optimization
- Knowledge and understanding of IT security
- Experience in designing modular systems and refactoring/decoupling monoliths, working with microservices
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture
- Experience in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
- Experience in continuous integration and delivery
- Experience working in self organizing cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in mentoring senior and mid-weight colleagues
- English language proficiency
Nice-to-have
- Experience in pair programming, TDD and Trunk Based Development
- Experience in AWS
- Hands on experience with Clickhouse
- Hands on experience with NoSQL
