• Execute and verify the settlement of various financial instruments.
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve settlement discrepancies and exceptions, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze existing settlement processes to identify areas for improvement,.Maintain a strong understanding of internal control frameworks and compliance requirements, ensuring all settlement activities are performed in accordance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with front office trading teams, operations, finance, and other support functions to facilitate smooth transaction lifecycles.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new settlement procedures and systems, applying creative and innovative thinking to solve complex challenges.
• Proactively engage in thought leadership by staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting settlements.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a high-pressure environment.

• Proven experience in financial settlements.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in business process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
