Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end incident response activities, including triage, investigation, remediation, and post-incident reporting.
Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Communications, and other stakeholders.
Actively monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM, EDR, CNAP, and other platforms, validating and escalating true positives.
Analyze alerts and incidents to identify tuning opportunities, reduce false positives, and improve SOC efficiency.
Oversee change management processes, reviewing and approving critical changes (firewall ACLs, system configurations) to mitigate security risk.
Manage and optimize security platforms, including EDR, Web Filtering, CSPM, and vulnerability scanning, ensuring policies and profiles are maintained.
Configure and run network and endpoint vulnerability scans, collaborating closely with technical teams to remediate risks through patching and configuration changes.
Contribute to security tooling policies, process improvements, and defense control maturity to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
Evaluate the suitability of existing and new security tools to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level analysts, supporting professional growth within the SOC.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports for compliance, audits, and internal review.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in security operations, SOC, or incident response, including leading incident handling.
Expertise in SIEM, EDR, CSPM, vulnerability scanning, and web filtering solutions.
Deep knowledge of firewall, network, and critical system change management processes.
Proven experience developing and tuning SIEM use cases and detection rules.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Expertise in SIEM, EDR, CSPM, vulnerability scanning, and web filtering solutions.
Deep knowledge of firewall, network, and critical system change management processes.
