Responsibilities




Role Objective


Datlan is building a new distribution and sales network for detergents and household chemical products in Hungary and the EU market.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager capable of building a commercial network from scratch, structuring sales channels, and scaling revenue.


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Build and structure a B2B sales network from zero (distributors, wholesalers, retail, HoReCa)
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy for detergents and household chemicals
  • Identify and secure long-term partnerships with key clients
  • Open new regions and sales channels in Hungary and neighboring EU countries
  • Build and manage a client and partner database from scratch
  • Conduct high-level commercial negotiations and close strategic deals
  • Design pricing policies, sales funnels and regional coverage
  • Develop and monitor sales KPIs and regional performance
  • Coordinate with logistics, supply chain and procurement teams
  • Represent Datlan at industry exhibitions and trade events
  • Create and lead a sales team in the future

Requirements




Candidate Requirements
 
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FMCG or detergents / household chemicals sales
  • Proven track record in building sales networks from scratch
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG distribution models in Central/Eastern Europe
  • Strong negotiation, leadership and strategic planning skills
  • English – fluent
  • Russian – mandatory
  • Hungarian – strong advantage
  • Experience working with distributors and retail chains
  • Ability to build processes, not только продавать
  • Legal right to work in Hungary
