Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, under the direction of the Operations Director.
- Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation (procedures, work instructions, control plans) subject to managerial review and approval.
- Monitor customer and regulatory requirements and assist in ensuring compliance.
- Record non-conformities and manage root cause analysis and the proposal of corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to operational-level customer quality communications (e.g., handling complaints, supporting audits, coordinating documentation) under the guidance and approval of the Operations Director.
- Support the preparation of PPAP and APQP documentation for product and process changes.
- Provide administrative support in supplier quality activities, including documentation of complaints, participation in defining inspection standards, and preparation support for supplier audits.
- Monitor and analyse quality performance indicators (e.g., scrap, defects, customer returns), prepare reports, and make improvement suggestions to the Operations Director.
- Assist in the preparation of internal training sessions and the explanation of documentation procedures, within the scope assigned by management.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, especially related to quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, or other relevant engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in metalworking or automotive industry is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Hands-on experience in audit preparation, customer complaint handling.
- Hands-on experience in root cause analysis.
- Practical familiarity with basic measurement tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres) is expected as part of daily quality-related tasks.
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of measurement technology and laboratory instruments is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
