is looking for a colleague for the position of
SENIOR PYTHON SOFTWARE ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and/or Hadoop.
- Implement complex data transformations and aggregations to support big data analytics and reporting.
- Optimize data retrieval and processing performance in large-scale environments.
- Collaborate with data science teams to implement machine learning models and algorithms.
- Ensure data integrity and system stability through comprehensive testing and error handling.
- Lead the integration of big data technologies with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Python programming and big data frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Dagster.
- Familiarity with messaging systems, specifically Apache Kafka.
- Understanding of caching solutions like Redis.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as CassandraDB and MongoDB.
- English (right now Hungarian is enough)
