Responsibilities
This is a Senior Project Controller role in a brand-new SSC in the heart of Budapest. You will be responsible for reporting to the Controlling department and for supporting the business partners with financial budgeting, monitoring, and coordinating engineering projects. The work can be managed fully remotely – with a time-to-time office presence – from any location in Hungary.
- Direct support for the global project controller in terms of:
- SAP project structure.
- Budgets.
- Plan/actual comparison.
- Global settlements.
- Project master data management, including project closure.
- Validation and upload of project cost planning.
- Tracking of the project cost.
- Perform manual and corrective postings.
- Preparation of standard project reports and support in analysis.
- Monitoring and follow-up of budget adjustments within SAP.
- Interface to finance – check of capitalization requirements etc.
- Responsible for the coordination of intercompany charges including the creation of contracts and alignments within the KOSTAL group.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Controlling.
- Project experience in an engineering, automotive company, or similar environment.
- Process knowledge about the cycle from project creation to settlement.
- Financial reporting experience delivered in an SSC environment.
- BI tool experience like Tableau or SAC (or any other visualization tool)
- Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills, data crunching.
- Flexibility and stress resistance, able to cope with a big data set.
- Strong knowledge of results analysis concepts and configuration.
- Strong team player who can build, and motivate a process team, who has the capability to work with different stakeholders.
- Solid Excel functions experience
- Advanced skills in Power Point
- SAP PS, FI and SAP-CO solid knowledge and experience are necessary.
- Experience in SAP S4/HANA is an advantage.
- Fluent in English
- German language knowledge is an advantage
