Senior Java Performance Engineer

For our successful, internationally established fintech technology partner, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team. Experienced professionals, engineers, and developers work closely together in a collaborative, international environment to create high-quality technology solutions. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys going deeper into how systems behave — understanding performance bottlenecks, memory usage, CPU utilization, and resource management, and finding ways to make complex systems faster and more efficient.

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance applications
• Analyze and improve application performance, memory consumption, and CPU utilization
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective optimizations
• Work on resource and memory management challenges
• Improve the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of complex systems
• Investigate system behavior and performance issues, going beyond the application layer when needed
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on architecture and technical decisions

• 5–6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Java development expertise
• Solid understanding of JVM internals and memory management
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and parallel programming
• Experience with performance profiling, tuning, and optimization
• Solid understanding of CPU, memory, I/O, and resource utilization
• Experience working with Linux environments
• Ability to investigate complex performance and resource-management problems in depth
