Responsibilities

Building and operating a unified, API-first portfolio services platform
Enabling portfolio onboarding and lifecycle management
Providing intelligent self-service capabilities across Aladdin and Enterprise
Owning portfolio domain capabilities including setup, validation, relationships, grouping, maintenance, and automation
Collaborating with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment
Delivering high efficiency, high availability, concurrent and fault tolerant software systems
Working with product management and business users to define the product roadmap
Identifying and driving opportunities to incorporate AI and intelligent automation into the platform
Leading the adoption of AI-augmented engineering practices
Designing and developing innovative solutions to complex problems
Driving a strong culture by promoting inclusion and diversity through recruiting, management actions, and employee engagement

Requirements

At least 7+ years hands-on experience developing complex enterprise software systems
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as generative AI coding assistants, automated test generation, and intelligent code review systems
Demonstrated interest in exploring and applying AI/ML or LLM-based solutions in enterprise software
Strong programming skills in Java
Strong knowledge of Open-Source technology stack including Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit
Great analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area
Knowledge or interest in finance and quant models
Excellent investigative, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions
Ability and willingness to learn fast, multi-task, self-motivate and pick up new things easily
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships

Nice-to-have

Experience architecting or integrating AI-powered components such as workflow automation, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, LLM-based services
Knowledge and experience developing and working with relational databases like MySQL and Sybase
Experience developing using NoSQL and distributed storage technologies such as Cassandra and HBase
Experience with Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
Experience with DevOps and tools like Azure DevOps
Team leading experience
Experience with frontend technologies and the Angular framework
